Hello, do you know how to access data in your hard disk Hyper V from host? I just know the way from my friend today. It’s so amazingly simple to do it. Usually I just copy the data from hard disk Hyper V to my host. But, this new way can copy the data in hard disk Hyper V when Hyper V is off. Maybe you do not want to turn on your virtual machine in Hyper V, then you can get your data using this new way.
1. First, make sure your virtual machine state is off
Of course, if your virtual machine is started, then you just need to copy the data and paste it to your host. You can copy data from host and paste it to your virtual machine too.
The other way, you can make a shared folder to get or put your data.
2. Second, locate the hard disk of virtual machine. Right click on it and click Mount.
As ISO file, you can mount the hard disk of Hyper-V virtual machine. After that, you can see the virtual machine drive is available in your host. Access the data you want and you can do copy and paste or anything else with your data. You can create new folder and new file in there.
3. Third, locate the hard disk of virtual machine. Right click on it and click Eject.
To be back to normal, you can eject the hard disk of Hyper-V virtual machine that available in your host.
