Yesterday I took responsibility to plug hard drive into my friend’s laptop. I was not used all the nuts before to tightened the hard drive. You can read what have I done here.
First, Open the Outer Case of Laptop.
I tried to open the outer case of laptop again (yellow line), but failed. Hahaha.. My friend help me on this and everything I explained later. :p
Second, unplug hard drive from laptop.
Remove the nuts from green box because it was in wrong holes.
Unplug hard drive from laptop.
Remove the plastic case from hard drive.
Remove the nuts from yellow box because it was in wrong holes.
Third, unite the hard drive and its plastic case then plug it into laptop.
Cover the hard drive with its plastic case. Tight it with nuts in the four side of plastic case (orange circle).
Plug the hard drive into laptop.
Fourth, tight the hard drive into laptop.
This four nuts are the missing nuts I left before. :p
This black nuts is used to tight the hard drive into laptop.
I just knew it yesterday. Hahhaha :p
Fifth, Close the Outer Case of Laptop.
Close the outer case of laptop again (yellow line). Match the outer case into laptop. Tight it with nuts.
Thank God it was done by my friend’s help. God can use anyone or anything to help you, right?! Hehehe.. Maybe next time I will do it myself. 🙂
I learned that assumption is so dangerous.
Before I failed to plug the hard drive into laptop because I did not remember all the instructions from my friend.
These are the lessons I got from this experience.
First, I used assumption to do it and the result is I failed.
Second, I just need to ask my friend again.
Third, I need to ask the experienced person, not the person who did not know anything about it.
